Should you need an adapter or electrical converter for any of your electrical devices please contact our reception.
ADDITIONAL TOILETRIES
We are happy to provide you with a dental set, ladies set, comb, sewing kit, shower cap, shaving set, etc. These services are free of charge and they are available at the reception.
AIR CONDITIONING
Some of the rooms of our hotel are air-conditioned. The air conditioner can be adjusted with the remote control. The right upper button © can be used to turn the unit off or on. After switching on, the display shows the set temperature. You can adjust it by the up and down arrows in the center automatically.

BABY COT, BOTTLE WARMER
Baby cot and nursing bottle warmer are available free of charge. Please call the reception. Baby cot is can be requested between the ages of 0-3.
BANK, ATM
The next cash machine is located in Bodajk, approximately 5 km from our hotel. For further information please contact our reception.
BAR
Our restaurant and terrace are open from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. You are welcome!
BATHROBE
Bathrobes are available upon request at the reception.
BED LINEN
Bed linen are changed twice a week, unless otherwise requested.
BOTANICAL WALK
Every 3rd Sunday during the year we offer a botanical walk through out the 50 hectares of historical garden around the chateau. We keep this program despite the weather. Pre registration is neccessary.
BREAKFAST
Start your day with a sumptuous buffet breakfast or à la carte offer, depending on our occupancy, in our restaurant from 7.30 a.m. until 10.00 a.m.
If you need to depart early, we are happy to offer you a breakfast package which you can pick at the agreed time at our reception. If you need this service please indicate it the previous day until 8 p.m.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
On the day of arrival we prepare your room until 2.00 p.m. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room latest until 10.00 a.m. If you require a late check-out, please contact the reception. An extra charge may occur and the service is only provided upon availability.
CLEANING THE ROOM
Our Housekeeping does the daily cleaning in the afternoon. Bed linen are changed twice a week, unless otherwise requested. Should they not be able to access your room (“do not disturb”), you have the possibility to get towels or additional toilet paper at the reception.
In order to protect the environment, towels are also changed twice a week. Should you wish to have your towels changed more frequently please leave them on the bathroom floor. Should you leave your towels hanging in the bathroom, it means you do not wish to have them changed.
COAT HANGERS
Should you require more than the amount provided, please, do not hesitate to contact the reception.
CONCIERGE SERVICE
Luggage storage, relevant information about train and bus schedules, recommendations, etc. are available 24 hours at our reception desk.
CONFERENCE FACILITIES
The Chateau Károlyi Hotel & Restaurant is the perfect location for your meetings and events. It does not matter if it is a small training session, a conference or an incentive event, our colleagues will be happy to help you to organise everything.

We ask our guests to visit the restaurant at dinner hours in appropriate clothing. Please leave your shorts, bathrobes, casual clothes in the room.

In case you do not wish to be disturbed, please hang your ‘Do not disturb’ card on your door handle. If phone calls should not be passed to your room, please advise the reception. It is part of our security policy we do not give out any room numbers of our hotel guests.

FIRE ESCAPE PLAN
Please, read the instructions carefully and locate the emergency exits. In case of fire green lights on the corridors guide you to the exits. Should you see fire, please, immediately dial extension 022 for the reception. The fire extinguishers and fire alarms are well marked in red. Do not use the elevators. The staircase leads you to the ground floor of the hotel.
FIRST-AID
If you need the first- aid kit, please contact the reception desk. The hotel cannot provide medicine due to legal regulations.
FLOWERS
Please contact the reception if you need a bouquet of flowers.

Please turn to our reception to check upon our lates board game offer. Also table tennis and board football are available upon request. Please make sure to return lent games after use to our reception, so future guests can also enjoy these services.

Our gift shop is open from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all days. Here you can get some little gifts or books.

GUIDED TOURS
Our chateau does not only operate as a hotel, but also as the „Hungarian and European Cultural Meetingpoint”. It can be visited with guided tours troughout the year for a fee. For our hotel guests guided tours are free of charge, and do not need advanced scheduling. Should you have special requests for timing or otherwise please check with our reception.

HALF BOARD
Our restaurant not only offers breakfast and à la carte dining, but also a half-board offer from 18.00, with a 4-course meal or buffet, depending on availability.
HEATING
Our hotel has a central heating system, which we adjust to the optimal temperature in the rooms before the arrival of our guests, depending on the weather conditions. If the temperature is inadequate and you want to change the temperature, you can manually adjust this with the regulator on the radiator behind the radiator blanket grid. The temperature can be reduced while turning the knob towards the wall, and raised by turning it outward.

You have a private minibar in your room that will be refilled on a daily basis. For prices, please refer to the price list found on the table. Should you require any additional drinks, please contact the reception.

Mobile telephones can be used throughout the hotel, although kindly refrain from use in the restaurant and common areas. For the well-being of our guests we trust on your kind understanding that the ringing tone has to be kept on a low level in the breakfast room, restaurant and inside the hotel.

EUR and HUF (Hungarian Forint) cash payment at the reception is accepted, however money exchange in the hotel is not possible. The reception may advise you of the nearby banks, exchange offices and their opening hours.

PARKING
Our hotel has own outside parking areas. The nearest you will find under the clock tower of the northern wing, one at the main entrance of the wash house and one next to the barn. During big events other parking facilities are named.
PAYMENT
Our hotel accepts cash payment in Hungarian Forints (HUF) or Euro (EUR). The following major credit or debit cards are accepted: American Express, Eurocard/ Mastercard, Maestro card, Visa and Visa electron cards. Please, contact our reception for further information. Our Hungarian guests can also pay with SZÉP cards provided by OTP, MKB and K&H.
PETROL STATION
The nearest petrol station is only 1,6 km away from our hotel and it is open 0-24 hours.
PETS
Our hotel is pet friendly, but charges do apply for the extra cleaning costs. If you have your loved one in the room, please hang the „dog” hanger to the doorknob. If you are on a walk with him, please also notify our housekeeping, so we can clean your room on a daily basis.

Our restaurant is located on the ground floor in the northern wing of the main building. Opening hours are 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. Kitchen opening hours are 12:00 a.m to 08:00 p.m. During this time you are welcome!

Please, keep your valuables in the room safe. The hotel does not take any responsibility for valuables not being kept in safe. Please find the description about the use of the safe in the wardrobe next to it. There is a central safe at your disposal at the reception as well.

Chateau Károlyi Hotel & Restaurant is a dedicated non-smoking hotel for the comfort and health of our guests. Smoking is permitted from 5 meters of the entrances at the designated smoking areas.
STATIONS (BUS & TRAIN)
The main bus station of Székesfehérvár is within 18 km from our hotel, the train station is 19 km away. The easiest way to get there is by taxi. Please check with our reception for further information.

The tap water is potable quality. If you would like to drink mineral water you can find it in the mini-bar.
